Birthday Gratitude, New Work, Upcoming Workshop & Pop-up Show
Happy Wednesday, friends and art lovers!
I hope this message finds you well. Life has been busy and exciting over the last six years as I’ve embarked on the journey of motherhood. My son is now six years old, and my daughter just turned 15 months. They have been the highlight of my life and have enriched it in ways I never imagined.

In addition to raising these two amazing humans, I’ve also been finding moments of creative joy. Recently, I’ve been focusing on digital painting, which allows me to work in the early hours of the morning while everyone is sound asleep. Digital art has given me the freedom to create without the big mess of paints—though I miss that and plan to return to it once my daughter isn’t wrapped around my legs!
Upcoming events
I’ll be hosting a pop-up art show at the annual Taste of Africa Festival, where I’ll be selling prints, cards, and stickers of my work. It’s a family-friendly festival full of fun, and I will also be offering free African-inspired face painting for all ages.
November 16th - Awakening Creativity Workshop
A free, 3-hour workshop is now open for registration! This workshop is especially geared toward people of color (POC), but all are welcome.

In other news, today marks my 48th year around the sun. I feel deep gratitude for my life and all the lessons, magic, and adventures it has brought me so far.
